With NewlyWish you can create a single registry to share with your family and friends, manage online and in store at any of the merchants in our network.
Here you will find a variety of gifts, and the merchants that provide them, from kitchen equipment, bed & bath, and tabletop items, to spas and fitness centers, dancing lessons, museum memberships, and sporting and cultural events. All you have to do is create an account and then get started browsing our merchants and gift categories and adding items to your registry. And be sure to check out our Gift Ideas section for suggestions for gifts for your wedding party and parents, as well as activities for your bridal shower, bachelorette, or bachelor party.
Once you’re ready to share your registry with friends and family, you can provide them with your custom NewlyWish url, or print out our registry announcement cards and include in your shower invitations. And after your Big Day, be sure to take advantage of our Registry Completion Program, which offers you 10% off all remaining items on your registry!
Our custom-built ecommerce platform allows you to include, and your guests to purchase, any item regardless of the merchant. And we encourage you to browse and shop for items outside of the registry. About NewlyWish
NewlyWish is a wedding gift registry service designed to provide to-be-weds, their friends and family, with the choice, convenience, and personalization they desire in such an important and personal time in their lives.
NewlyWish is the result of the founders’ experiences when creating their own wedding registry. While a little reticent about the whole idea of registering – having a destination wedding, their guests’ presence was worth more than their presents – they were convinced to create a gift registry as a convenience for friends and family and to make sure that any gifts that were purchased were things they would like.
During their search for the perfect registry items – chic, stylish, functional, and appropriate for a small NYC duplex – they found themselves unable to use their favorite local shops or incorporate less traditional gifts like artwork, fitness training, and dancing lessons.
And so, NewlyWish was born, with the goal of creating a network comprised of New York City’s vibrant array of stores and service providers, available through a single, online portal, so that engaged couples
can use their full imaginations in selecting gifts – whether for themselves, their bridal party, or other guests – and expand beyond the traditional choices that currently dominate the market.
In addition to registrants and gift-givers, we are also focused on supporting our local merchant community, by providing members of our network with a technological, marketing, and sales platform to reach the gift registry market.
